Enikolopov Institute of Synthetic Polymeric Materials, a foundation of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISPM RAS)  
The Institute of Synthetic Polymeric Materials (ISPM) was founded in 1981 by Academician N.S. Enikolopov as part of a Branch of Basic and Technical Chemistry at the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. ISPM
The Contemporary directions of the scientific activity of the ISPM RAS include:
  • Research and development in the field of new generations of organosilicon polymers, thermostable thermoplastics, high-strength polymeric composite materials
  • Research and development of synthetic polymeric materials with a special complex of electrical, magnetic, optical, acoustical, and other physical properties
  • Research and development in the field of chemistry and chemical transformations in solid phases
  • Research and development in the field of new classes of functional polymeric structures
  • Research and development in the field of radiation modifications of polymers
  • Coordination of research efforts for national and international scientific and engineering programs in the field of new polymeric materials

October, 2013 – Results on Novel copolymers for organic photovoltaic cells from two laboratories of ISPM RAS (Laboratory of functional materials for organic electronics and photonics and Laboratory of functional polymer structures) in collaboration with their colleagues from IPCP RAS (Chernogolovka, Russia) and LPICM (Ecole Polytechnique, France) were published in October 2013 issue of Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics (Wiley) and featured on the Front Cover:

15.06.2011 – Dr. Maria A. Augustyniak-Jablokow from the Institute of Molecular Physics, Poznan, Poland has made a report at the seminar in ISPM RAS: «PERSPECTIVES OF THE EPR STUDY OF POLYMER COMPOSITES WITH CARBON FILLERS». The seminar was organized in the scopes of the visit of specialists from Poland in accordance with The Agreement on scientific cooperation between Russian Academy of Sciences and Polish Academy of Sciences.

02.02.2011 - Nobel laureate on chemistry Prof. Alan Hegeer has visited ISPM RAS. He participated in a Seminar on Organic electronics (Seminar Program), where leading scientists from ISPM RAS and IPCP RAS reported on their work in the field (gallery).
